    Just 200 meters away from Casa Stella one can find the Duomo which was constructed on the site of the old cathedral of Santa Reparata. The initial project was to enlarge the original cathedral, but in 1294 the Council of the Hundred opted for a completely new construction.

    Just 100 meters away from Casa Stella one can find the Baptistry, with its characteristic octagonal layout, it is known throughout the world for the magnificence of its three sets of carved bronze doors; positioned according to the cardinal points, these carvings recount the history of humanity and of the Redemption.
